Face-Place

Up one level
• This face database was created by the Tarrlab at Brown University. There are multiple images for over 200 individuals. The image database consists of many different races with consistent lighting, multiple views, real emotions, and disguises (and many participants returned for a second session several weeks later with a haircut, or a new beard, etc.). • This is our final Release (3.0). The resolution of these images is as good as it gets given we used a standard resolution video camera (sorry HD was too expensive at the time). We do have the movies as mpeg files if you want them. Please contact me and we can arrange for you to buy a hard drive, which we can populate with the video and send to you (FYI, the videos come to about 160 GB). • Funding provided by NSF award 0339122. Links to other face databases may be found at: http://www.tarrlab.org/stimuli/faces • Note that the archives are compressed in .zip format, which should be decompressable in almost any computing environment (even Windows); the images themselves are in jpeg format, 250x250 72 dpi 24 bit color
